Drought Tolerant California Native

For this project, we designed a landscape using only California native plants, ensuring that it thrives in the local environment while promoting sustainability. Our approach began with a careful analysis of the site’s soil, sunlight, and water conditions to select plants best suited for the California climate. The design features a blend of native grasses, shrubs, and wildflowers that provide year-round color and texture, all while requiring minimal water and maintenance.

We focused on creating a harmonious, low-impact landscape that supports local wildlife, such as birds and pollinators, with the thoughtful placement of native plants that encourage biodiversity. The layout also integrates pathways and seating areas that invite a deeper connection with nature, offering spaces for relaxation and reflection. To complement the plantings, we incorporated natural materials like stone and gravel, ensuring the design blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
